On the 4th and 5th April 2017 Campos de Amaya Secondary School celebrated their Cultural Days dedicated to our Erasmus+ Geoparks project. Students and teachers visited the geopark, attended different workshops on traditional music, food, information technology and it all finished with a buffet in which we all tasted the local food made by students.

CHRONOESTRATIGRAFIA

Las Loras is declared a geopark in May 2017. Congratulations to ARGEOL (Association for the Geological Preservation of Las Loras)

On the 30th May 2017, students from 3rd and 4th year and teachers from Campos de Amaya Secondary School went on a cycling route to Villanueva de Puerta to study the flora in this part of Las Loras Geopark.

On the 8th of June 2017, the students presented our project Erasmus+ Geoparks to the local community, within the celebration of " Las Loras Geopark Week". During the presentation they showed the activities and outcomes carried out and promoted Las Loras Geopark.

In November 2017 we received students from Grenoble, France. We organised a school trip to show them the territory of Las Loras Geopark. We visited Rebolledo de la Torre, Humada Panoramic and Ordejón de Arriba.

On the 29th November students from 3rd and 4th Year ESO and 1st and 2nd Year Bachillerato visited Fuenteodra, in Las Loras Geopark, to prepare Yeguamea guided route. This route is one of the outcomes of our Erasmus+Geoparks project. With the information students will design a leaflet and guide students and teachers from the partner schools during their visit in April 2018.

Campos de Amaya Secondary School send its best wishes for Christmas to everyone. The postcard was designed by the student Raquel Pedrosa, 3rd Year ESO and it shows Peña Amaya, one of the most popular places in Las Loras Geopark. Our school is named after it. It includes and invitation to visit our geopark.
We also decorated Erasmus+ Space for Christmas with words in the different languages in the project. We also decorate.
